Baron Corbin reveals length of his WWE contract, says it will probably be his last

During a recent interview with The Sportster, Baron Corbin revealed that he signed a multi-year deal with WWE. 'This is going to be a great run for me. Like, you know, signing a good multi-year deal. Coming back, I'm going to really accomplish something. I have a lot of unfinished goals. I was never a world champion. I need to have that on my list of accomplishments. So coming back and making a statement at SummerSlam in front of all those people, it was unreal.' Corbin also said that his current deal with probably be the last contract he signs. '100%. I think the sky's the limit. Like I said, I signed a good contract, and my thought process is, this is probably the last one I sign, right? Realistically, how much time do I have left to do this before I'm a step slower or… I'm not able to bring my A game and the physicality I want. I never want to be a guy that hangs on too long. I want to be at 110% when I walk through those curtains. That's the entrance, that's the in-ring, that's after, that's the promo. all of those things, I want it to be 100, 110%.' Corbin returned to WWE back on July 10 episode of SmackDown, attacking Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes. Corbin would go on to defeated Williams for the US Title at SummerSlam Night 2. Corbin lost the title to Williams on Sunday Night's Main Event, ending his 35-day reign. He left WWE back on November 1, 2024 after a 12-year run, as the company chose not to renew his contract at that time. Between 2025 and 2026, Corbin worked for Major League Wrestling, under the name of Bishop Dyer, where he joined Donovan Dijak and Saint Laurent. On June 26 at MLW Summer of the Beasts, Dijak and Corbin, as Bishop Dyer defeated Los Depredadores (Magnus and Rugido) to win the MLW World Tag Team Championships, but he was later stripped of the title due to contract disputes.
