74-year-old woman dies after being hit by boat

BENTON COUNTY, Ark. (KY3/Gray News) - A woman has died after she was hit by a boat while swimming in an Arkansas lake on Friday. According to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the tragedy happened north of War Eagle Marina in the White River arm of Beaver Lake. Officials said a 74-year-old woman was swimming when a boat hit her. She died from her injuries. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) said that arm of the lake is relatively narrow and it typically experiences heavy boat traffic.
