The Governor was given a detailed briefing on various proposed financing schemes aimed at providing easy-term financial assistance to farmers, youth, entrepreneurs and other sectors. Governor Kundi said students of universities and other educational institutions should be provided scooters on easy installments through a dedicated financing scheme, adding that facilitating students with modern amenities remained among the government's priorities. He said agriculture was the backbone of the national economy and the province's development, stressing that financial support for farmers was essential. He added that shifting agricultural tube wells to solar energy had become inevitable due to prolonged electricity load-shedding in the province.
