Where Does Jarry's Future Lie?

Any players that you're looking at specifically who are gonna really need to step up and deliver for their teams this year? Yeah, I'm gonna go back to, another Central division goaltender. I am the goaltending whisperer today. I'm gonna look at Joel Hofer, with the St. Louis Blues. I mean, their goaltending situation is just gonna rely so heavily on Hofer's, success here. Binnington obviously in a contract year, rumors have circulated for a little over a year now on what his future's gonna look like in the NHL. And he hasn't really performed up to expectations at all, except when he's wearing a maple leaf on Team Canada. So I mean, Joel Hofer, he's 26, he's in the final year of a, a, a deal that's paying him 3.4 million. He's got every bit of opportunity here to, get paid and to solidify himself as a number one in the NHL. Looking in the Pacific, obviously similar to Michael, low hanging fruit, but the $90 million man, Leo Carlsson of the Anaheim Ducks, has, quite a bit, to prove here this season. Obviously, you know, someone puts $18 million a year in front of you, no one's gonna blame you for signing that. But with that cap hit comes expectations, and we don't even know if one of his linemates is gonna end up, starting out the season. Carter Gauthier, that situation with the Ducks is still unresolved, so that could impact his point production a bit. But I mean, in all honesty, I'm pretty confident, Carlsson can live up to these expectations. As high as the cap hit is, he's so talented, and it'll be exciting to watch him this year. Close
