The lore trailer for this anticipated RP mode showed the dramatic transformation of Los Santos over a two-year period following a complete societal breakdown. Initially, the city is shown as a place where the economy collapsed, order failed, and residents were forced to live in a state of constant fear and violence.
In response to this chaos, the city government partnered with an organization called Nest to restore order. Nest claims to have a proven track record of stabilizing devastated areas and initiated a massive reconstruction effort to revitalize the city.

The trailer concludes by presenting a vision of a new Los Santos created by Nest, shown as a controlled environment where basic needs are met and safety is prioritized.
However, things change quite drastically when in the final moments of the video, the whole thing turns into a propaganda-style public service announcement, with a few people in a room watching the entire thing. These people did not look like law-abiding citizens. So there is something deeper underlying and that's what makes things more interesting.
