Dr. Bahaa El-Ghannam, chairman of the board of the Future of Egypt Authority for Sustainable Development, inspected several of the authority's agricultural, industrial and commercial projects, reviewing implementation progress and the latest developments across the sites.
The tour included a briefing on the third phase of the New Delta Project, which covers about 402,000 feddans. Officials reviewed infrastructure work, cultivated areas and production of strategic and economically important crops, as well as ongoing operations across the project.
El-Ghannam also inspected the Sphinx Hub for Crop Trading and the Future of Egypt Industrial City, where he reviewed work progress and implementation rates.
The tour extended to land reclamation projects in Sadat, Nubariya and West Cairo, where El-Ghannam assessed ongoing operations and developments in the projects.
He also visited the Qaha and Edfeina Advanced Food Industries Complex in Sadat City, reviewing construction and operational progress as part of efforts to develop an integrated production system linking agricultural production, food processing, industrial activity and crop trading.
The authority said the visits were part of its ongoing monitoring of its projects and efforts to follow up on implementation and accelerate progress across its agricultural, industrial and commercial activities.
