A burglar climbed onto a balcony of an apartment in Los Angeles' Westside area and got away with tens of thousands of dollars worth of property over the weekend. After climbing onto the second-floor balcony of the residence in Palms, the burglar entered the apartment in the 2700 block of Motor Avenue just before midnight Saturday through an unlocked sliding door. WATCH HERE WATCH HERE The same burglar is believed to have hit at least 10 different apartments in recent months, entering through locked doors, police said. No arrests were reported Monday. The LAPD encouraged residents to locking sliding doors, even those not on ground floors. Anyone with information about the crimes was asked to call the LAPD at 310-482-6334.
