Solar system battery prices fall sharply in Lahore market

Prices of lithium batteries used in solar systems have fallen in the Lahore city's market, with reductions recorded for batteries used in on-grid, hybrid and off-grid systems. According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, ources, the prices of the batteries have fallen by between Rs20,000 and Rs100,000. The price of a five-kilowatt lithium battery has dropped from Rs250,000 to Rs230,000. Meanwhile, the price of a 16-kilowatt battery has fallen from Rs750,000 to Rs650,000. The reduction in battery prices comes as a growing number of consumers have started installing off-grid solar systems following the end of the net metering policy.
