TYRONE, Pa. (WTAJ) — A local chemical manufacturer will be conducting an emergency response drill to evaluate the facility's emergency preparedness. W.R. Grace & Co. will conduct an emergency response drill on Saturday, Oct. 3 at its Blair County facility on Back Vail Road. The exercise, beginning around 7:30 a.m. and finishing around 1 p.m., will simulate a hazardous materials release. Emergency response agencies from across Blair County will work together to manage and moderate the simulated incident. While emergency response vehicles will be working near the building during the exercise, Back Vail Road will remain open to traffic. No actual hazardous materials will be released. The drill is run by the Bucks County Community College Department of Public Safety Training and Certification. Submit Suggested Correction Δ
