LAHORE - Lahore Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Ali Ejaz has directed that verification process for kite-manufacturing licences be accelerated to ensure safety of the Basant 2027 cultural event. According to the district administration, the registration process for kite-manufacturing licences has been underway since September 5, and all assistant commissioners have been mobilised to conduct field verifications of the manufacturers.
