The Pakistan junior hockey team secured an impressive victory in its second match of the Men's Junior Asia Cup 2026, defeating hosts China 4-2. Pakistan's Hamza Fayyaz was named Player of the Match. Pakistan started the match aggressively. Hamza Fayaz scored a brace for the Green Shirts, while Nadeem Khan converted a penalty corner. Abdul Sami also contributed with a field goal to play a key role in Pakistan's win, said a presa release. For China, Wang Yubo scored from a penalty corner and Ao Dongzi added a field goal. However, Pakistan maintained its lead through excellent teamwork and a solid defensive performance to seal the match 4-2. Goal Scorers: Pakistan: Hamza Fayyaz (2′, 51′), Nadeem Khan (18′), Abdul Sami (35′); China: Wang Yubo (26′), Ao Dongzi (54′). Congratulating the team on the fine performance, President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani commended the players and officials and extended his best wishes for success in the upcoming matches.
