VFW Post 3278 and Auxiliary Fish Fry Sept. 18 to benefit Walker Cancer Center

Austin to benefit the Walker Cancer Center. The meal will consist of fried fish, coleslaw, hush puppies, beans, red sauce, and tartar sauce for $14 a plate. Advance orders can be made by calling the VFW at 325-646-8113 prior to Sept. 15. Delivery will be available in the Brownwood and Early areas beginning at 10:30 a.m. Drivers do not carry change. Dine in is available in the Veterans' Canteen only. Walk in orders may be available starting at noon.
