Vehicle Rolls Over Multiple Times on Highway 108 Near Sonora

Slavic Sacramento reports that a vehicle rolled over multiple times on Highway 108 near the lower Mono Way turnoff, close to where it connects with Sanguinetti Road. The crash was reported at 9:50 a.m. According to Slavic Sacramento's reporter, the vehicle came to rest on its roof and is blocking the highway, prompting a full closure of the roadway. An ambulance has been requested to the scene, though the extent of any injuries has not yet been released. Traffic is being diverted onto Mono Way while crews work the scene. Caltrans has also dispatched a sand truck after oil and other vehicle fluids spilled onto the highway. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area until the roadway reopens. Firefighters and paramedics rushed to help the victim, while police officers who arrived on the scene began questioning those involved in the collision.
