WILLISTON, ND — The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce (WACC), in partnership with the WACC Agriculture Committee and Williams County Soil Conservation District, are excited to announce the Sixth Annual Farm to Table dinner, 5:30-7 p.m. at Overland Aviation, 14151 Commerce Drive, Williston, ND, on Friday, Sept. 25.
This premier agricultural celebration offers attendees an exquisite locally sourced meal while featuring Matt Perdue, North Dakota Farmers Union president as keynote speaker. Guests will also enjoy an exclusive tour of this year's venue, Overland Aviation. This year's programming also features the latest innovations and technology in aerial applications.
The locally sourced meal will start off with an exquisite grazing table, masterfully prepared by
Velvet Vine Charcuterie, with the main meal crafted by Chef Christopher Menendez with Great
Northern Events. The meal showcases the region's finest local ingredients through a menu that includes beef tenderloin, green peppercorn demi, bowtie pasta with garlic cream sauce and baked apple tarts with honey glaze.
'Farm To Table is a perfect opportunity to highlight our local producers, and show the vital connection they have to the community by creating an unforgettable dining experience with the ingredients that come from right here in our region.' said Mitch Melberg, Williston Area Chamber of Commerce president.
Keynote speaker Matt Perdue was elected president of North Dakota Farmers Union in
December 2025. In his capacity, he serves as president of Farmers Union Insurances and
Farmers Union Service Association, all headquartered in Jamestown. Matt farms with his family near Ray, ND, where they raise spring wheat, durum, canola, lentils and soybeans.
He previously worked at NDFU and National Farmers Union, where he advocated for family farmers and ranchers in the state capitol and the halls of Congress. At NDFU, he oversaw co-op and adult education initiatives and had broad management responsibilities. Tickets are available at https://www.willistonchamber.com/farm-to-table.
