Prince William and Kate Middleton have spoken out after their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Edward, and Prince Louis skipped 2026 Remembrance Day.
On Sunday, November 8th, Kensington Palace shared the new message after the future King followed King Charles III during a special honorary event at the Cenotaph.
After His Majesty laid a wreath to honour the fallen heroes of World War, the next heir to the British throne also laid a wreath.
Kate Middleton witnessed the historical event after scoring special spot at the Buckingham Palace's balcony, where she was standing beside Queen Camilla.
"Honouring all those who have served, and continue to serve, in defence of our freedom. On Remembrance Sunday, we remember those who gave their lives in service, and reflect on the lasting impact of their sacrifice," Prince William and Kate Middleton added.
The message continued, "We remember them today and always. Lest we forget."
However, the royal couple, who recently drew attention with the adorable photo of their youngest son, Prince Louis, on Halloween this year, have not clarified why their kids have not joined their parents at the special event.
Speaking about their absence, Hello! magazine suggested that the solemnity of the occasion might be the reason William, 45, and Kate, 45, did not bring their children.
"One of the leading factors is the solemnity of the event; given it is such a formal occasion, it is reserved strictly for senior working members of the Royal Family," the insider suggested.
For the unversed, Remembrance Sunday honours the service of all the military and armed forces personnel who have sacrificed their lives.
While there are likely many reasons why George, Charlotte, and Louis didn't accompany their parents to the event, one reason might stand out above all others.
