Three league games in, James Trafford is already a firm Leeds United fan favourite for his quality between the sticks.
Five points on the board, three goals scored, and two conceded. So far, it's been a very encouraging start for Daniel Farke's Leeds so far in the Premier League.
At the heart of Leeds' growth in the Premier League has been a stern defensive structure. Recently, that's been greatly enhanced with £40million 'keeper James Trafford.
James Trafford endearing himself at Leeds United with performances and character
It goes without saying that Trafford would have made himself a quick favourite amongst the Leeds fanbase through performances alone.
We've been crying out for someone to take a firm grip of the No1 shirt for over two decades. And, his performances in the Leeds goal have been just what the doctor ordered. He's provided composure playing out, but also a real confidence and imposing frame when stopping shots and crosses.
His personality and the ease at which he's become a key Leeds figure is impressive too. Jayden Bogle's opener at Brighton was proof, as he wheeled away celebrating his goal. The away end, meanwhile, behind Trafford broke into a chorus of 'United are back, hello, hello'.

Leeds United's Premier League security aided by James Trafford capture
Certainly, you can see right away that Trafford loves it here.
This isn't the only instance, however. He's been seen lapping up celebrations at the City Ground in two wins over Forest, and clearly enjoyed his Elland Road debut too vs Brentford.
He's not yet had chance to pull out anything truly unbelievable with his shot-stopping, but he's already looked so assured.
Trafford may be frustrated at how Brighton equalised, but both goals he's conceded this season haven't been his doing. That's already encouraging for a new Leeds United goalkeeper.
