Oasis raise concerns over auction of unheard recordings archive

Recordings from Oasis concerts, sound samples and interviews are expected to bring in up to 1.6 million British pounds. The "only recording" of Oasis's landmark 1996 concert on the banks of Loch Lomond will be sold as part of a collection which is estimated to fetch up to £1.6 million at auction. Oasis reportedly "unhappy" with the planned sale of unheard and rare recordings they want "back in their possession' An archive of over 100 Oasis recordings and other historic items is set to be auctioned despite the band raising "concerns" over the sale.
