Missouri moves up in USA Today Coaches Poll ahead of Border War matchup

The Missouri football team climbed in the national polls following its 54-14 win over FCS Arkansas-Pine Bluff last Thursday. The Tigers rose to No. 23 in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, released late Tuesday morning. They were No. 25 in the USAT Coaches Preseason Poll. Entering Week 2, Ohio State is still in the top spot, followed by No. 2 Georgia, No. 3 Texas, No. 4 Notre Dame, and No. 5 Indiana. The Week 2 coaches poll features 10 SEC teams: Georgia and Texas, followed by No. 8 LSU, No. 9 Texas A&M, No. 10 Oklahoma, No. 11 Ole Miss, No. 12 Alabama, No. 18 Tennessee, Mizzou, and No. 25 Florida.
