Rana Atef Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is expected to arrive in Brazil on Tuesday as he prepares to complete his transfer to Botafogo and begin a new chapter of his career outside European football. The 33-year-old winger will reportedly travel to Brazil to finalize the formalities of the move and sign his contract with Botafogo. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the player is expected to complete the final steps before the Brazilian club officially announces the deal. Ziyech recently became a free agent following the end of his brief spell with Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca. Botafogo moved quickly to take advantage of his availability and reached an agreement to sign him without a transfer fee. According to French media reports, Ziyech eventually accepted Botafogo's proposal after initially hesitating over the move. The agreement is reportedly set to keep him at the Brazilian club until December 2028. The transfer will mark a significant change for Ziyech, who has spent most of his career in Europe. He previously played for Ajax, Chelsea, Galatasaray and Twente before returning to Morocco to join Wydad. Botafogo will be hoping that the experienced winger can add creativity and attacking quality to the squad, while Ziyech will look to use his move to Brazil as an opportunity to revive his career and regain his best form. read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest Sports Roberto Carlos Marries Moroccan-Lebanese Sports Agent Souheila Tahiri Arts & Culture Haifa Wehbe Announces Massive 2026-27 World Tour Business World Gold Council: Current Price Decline Is a Temporary Correction, Not the Start of a Long-Term Bear Market News AUC Researchers Explore the Ethics, Trust and Future of Self-Driving Cars News GUC & GIU Open Research Centre in Germany with 4 Leading Universities News Aboul Gheit meets with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on sidelines of Antalya Diplomacy Forum Opinion & Analysis From Oblivion to Global Recognition: Will the City of Fuwwah Join the World Heritage List?
