Tr*mp's tricky Latin American ties are coming out in a new exposé, and it could prove a second Epstein scandal for the beleaguered White House.
At a Mar-a-Lago party last year, Argentinian political operative Fernando Cerimedo accepted an award for 'Hispanic Political Consultant of the Year.' He name-checked his MAGA pals and left the stage in triumph. Today, he's at the center of a murder-for-hire scandal involving his own girlfriend.
Needless to say, none of the news around 'MAGA's man in Latin America' is looking especially good for Tr*mp.
AsThe Bulwark recently reported, this is not the first scandal Cerimedo has faced under Tr*mp's watch. Dubbed by many as a 'con artist' for his alleged role in an earlier real estate scam, Cerimedo found like-minded pals in Tr*mp's fellow MAGA movers and shakers.

So why is he being investigated for allegedly hiring a (failed) hit on his pregnant girlfriend? It's unclear. What couldn't be clearer is that Cerimedo's recent Bolivian arrest could 'expose Trump world machinations across Latin America.'
Sounds like a party, if a gruesome one.
At the center of the unfolding action isn't Cerimedo alone, but the man described as his partner, despite the two seemingly having zero joint business interests together. This is Brad Parscale, who served as the senior adviser for data and digital operations for Tr*mp's 2020 campaign. Now, Cerimedo's girlfriend Nadia Beller—who survived three gunshot wounds—is spilling the tea, claiming that Cerimedo and Parscale have been working for the CIA.
Both Cerimedo and Parscale have been deeply involved with far-right, MAGA-aligned governments in Latin America. Parscale was retained by the Israeli government this year, while Cerimedo is currently under investigation for his alleged role in getting Honduran President (and Tr*mp fan) Nasry Asfura elected to office. Both Parscale and Cerimedo have longstanding ties to Tr*mp, and both were involved in AI bot misinformation scandals that are now coming to light and even spurring on new anti-bot farm legislation.
But in the center of all this, there's an even queerer mystery. Namely: why did Cerimedo allegedly hire someone to kill his pregnant girlfriend? Did she know too much? The partnership between Cerimedo and Parscale becomes even thornier when you learn that in 2020, Parscale, too, came under domestic abuse scrutiny.
Basically, his wife called the cops in September of that year, when she came home to find her husband armed and threatening to harm himself. She was found with scratches and bruising on her body, but denied being the victim of abuse at her husband's hand. Four years earlier, the couple mourned the loss of their twins after a premature birth.
With this intel, it seems even more baffling that Cerimedo would try to get rid of his wife and impending baby. Whatever the reason for the alleged hit, Cerimedo's fall from grace means huge things for Latin America, where the far right has been picking up speed. As Jacobin phrased it recently, 'the house of cards that is the Latin American far right is swaying on its flimsy foundations' thanks to the Cerimedo scandal.
And with that, Tr*mp's own hold on Latin America could be at an end as well.
MAGA's flop era continues
