Scotland Pakistan Scholarships 2026 Are Now Open

Applications are now open for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls 2026 to 2027. The program supports Pakistani women who want to continue higher education in Pakistan. The scholarship is funded by the Scottish Government and managed in Pakistan by the British Council. It aims to help women who need financial support for their studies. The scholarship is available for bachelor's, master's and MPhil students. Applicants must study at an HEC-recognized university in Pakistan. Bachelor's students can apply for programs of up to four years. Master's and MPhil students can apply for programs of up to two years. Students already studying in an eligible degree can also apply. The scholarship may cover their remaining semesters. Women with disabilities and students from rural areas and minority communities are also encouraged to apply. Eligible Subjects The scholarship covers selected fields. These include Education, Sustainable Energy, Food Security and Agriculture, Health Sciences, STEM, and Climate Change. Medical Sciences are not included under Health Sciences. Some social science subjects are also not covered under the program. Selected students can receive support for university tuition fees. The scholarship may also cover university hostel costs. Students living in university hostels may receive travel support between their home and university twice a year. The selection process will consider academic performance and financial need.
