LAHORE - The Safe Cities Authority has activated an AI-based child protection system on its cameras for the protection of children and timely identification of possible child labour. According to a Safe City spokesperson, various activities, including child labour will be automatically monitored and identified 24 hours a day through modern AI technology. With the help of the system, the presence of children without uniforms during school hours will also be automatically detected, while it will also be possible to identify children dressed in uniform who are outside the school during school hours. According to the spokesperson, in case of detection of children without uniforms or outside the school, the system will issue automatic alerts, which will be delivered to the relevant authorities in a timely manner. The AI-based system for identifying out-of-school children will remain active from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Heavy rain brings relief to Lahore and parts of Punjab Tags:
