Night Shyamalan (Old, Trap) returns with his latest ghostly venture Remain, hitting theaters just in time for Valentine's Day 2027. Remain marks a new collaboration between Shyamalan and best-selling author Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook), both writing a novel and a screenplay, respectively, based on the same original love story. In Remain: When reclusive architect Tate Gordon moves to small coastal town to complete his latest project, he encounters an alluring young woman who pulls him out of his shell, and into the center of a deadly mystery that hangs over the town. Behind the scenes, Shyamalan produces along with Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock and Theresa Park, and Sparks executive producing. Director of photography Adolpho Veloso, production designer Sam Lisenco, editor Noëmi Preiswerk, costume designer Caroline Duncan, casting director Douglas Aibel, music supervisor Gabe Hilfer and composer James Newton Howard make up the behind the camera talent.
