Eagles' Brandon Graham retiring for good this time – ‘I'm officially done'

Longtime Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham announces that he is retiring from playing in the NFL. The 2026-27 season is about to begin, but the Philadelphia Eagles will play, for the first time since 2010, without Brandon Graham. After a long career with the franchise, Graham is finally calling it a career. The 38-year-old former defensive end announced his retirement during the Tuesday's 'Breakfast with the Birds' with the Eagles, according to Rob Kuestner of NBC 10 in Philadelphia. Graham followed up his retirement announcement by claiming the Eagles have the firepower to continue winning without him. 'I'm officially done,' Graham said. 'Ya'll hearing it from me first. But let me tell you this, [the Eagles] are in great hands… I'm [going to] still be around. I'm still around. Still giving wisdom, helping the guys. Because of course, it's an adjustment for me. But it's a great adjustment because it's all about my kids and my family. Trying to make sure I'm there for that. Just making sure that we just spreading the love everywhere.'
