Chris Rock has opened up about going to therapy, saying he sought help because his personal life was not where he wanted it to be.
The comedian made the remarks in a candid GQ interview, published on Tuesday as part of the magazine's Men of the Year honours.
'My personal life wasn't what I wanted it to be,' Rock said. He recalled going into therapy 'crying like a b**ch,' but declined to share more about what was discussed.

Rock also took responsibility for the end of his marriage to Malaak Compton-Rock, which lasted 19 years.
'I was not a great husband,' he said, adding that he 'watched a lot of po*n.' He said he has not watched it for 'five, six years.'
On the Oscar slap, the star kept his answer short.
'Something happened. It wasn't cool,' he said, making clear that he would like to move on. He wants attention to be on his work, he explained, rather than on 'some crazy night.'
There is plenty of work to talk about.
His film Misty Green arrived in cinemas via A24 last month and will be available on Netflix on 9 November. Rock also said he plans to direct more feature films, write a book and possibly return to the stage.
The GQ cover is the first of the magazine's Men of the Year honorees to be unveiled this year, and it sees one of the biggest names in stand-up reflecting openly on the personal changes he has been through.
