香港網壇新星朱鍇泓（Kai）周日（6日）在美網傳來喜訊，在青少年男單以2比1力挫對手，勇闖第二圈。
在青年組世界排名34的Kai今仗轟出19個Ace球及取得33個致勝球，以7比6（7比1）、1比6、6比4擊敗排名87位、憑外卡參賽的美國 Navneet Raghuram，順利躋身次圈，並將與阿根廷球手Dante Pagani爭逐。
張瑋桓女雙無緣晉級
至於在美網女雙爭逐的港將張瑋桓，她與中國球手楊釗煊在次圈面對7號種子的蔣欣玗/張帥，雖然首盤一度領先並4破對手發球局，但這對「中港組合」仍難抗對手，最終以6比7（6比8）、1比6落敗，無緣晉級。
