The US and Canada have been locked in a trade war for over a year, with Trump renaming Lake Ontario "Lake America" on August 27, following claims that Canada has been 'ripping off the US for decades.'
On Wednesday, Apple Maps officially changed the name of the lake for US users to comply with the Trump order.
On August 22, the US imposed 50% tariffs on certain Canadian imports after the two countries failed to reach a trade deal, with both trading accusations of derailing days of talks.
