WASHINGTON (TNND) — King Charles will be hosting an exclusive meeting with leaders in the artificial intelligence world sometime this month, according to reports. The event will be held in Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, according to the Politico news outlet. This location is the headquarters of The King's Foundation. The King's Foundation started in the 1990s to advocate for social issues, according to two sources. Some of the individuals set to attend the event include Paolo Benanti, an adviser to the Vatican on AI and Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang. Roughly 30 people in the AI world will be attending.'One of the king's unique abilities as sovereign and global statesmen is his ability to convene top level stakeholders,' a Royal source told Politico. Since AI is one of the most relevant issues of this year, King Charles said he wants to listen and encourage debate at the meeting. AI has become more and more relevant over the years. A recent study showed that one in five teens use artificial intelligence for mental health advice. A psychiatrist warned that this could be damaging to them. "If you've atrophied your social skills and you don't feel comfortable talking to people, you can just get sucked into these relationships with these AI chatbots where they can be companions," psychiatrist Dr. Josef Witt-Doerring said during an interview with The National News Desk. "And that's really not healthy for the social development of kids."
