Some classes start here today for public school.
Those in new transitions will be kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade. The rest tomorrow.
I saw a young person sitting on a railing, looking ready for school. 'When does the bus come?' They pointed, and it was right behind me.'Where do you go today?' They answered. It was for them a new place and 6th grade! I use to mentor in their school. Tomorrow I will try to be a bit earlier to see if they want aKeep Calm & Be Kindbutton for their NEW backpack.
Angling around the Surgery Center I saw a new person. We discussed the transitions like the 6th grader was facing, and then on toKeep Calm & Be Kindbutton/sticker selection. They were aware of who else on staff who had one and promised to greet them with their new button.
That and giving away a pear and talking to landscapers why one arborvitae died and others did not in a row, was my educational start for the day. I can summarize the arborvitae learning asWater is Life. Irrigation to be adjusted accordingly for the replant.
May you have a day filled with good new starts and learning.
