Telus Removes Shareable Data From BYOD Plans, All Now Offer 2Gbps Speeds

Telus has made some changes to its website on Tuesday, according to checks made by iPhone in Canada, resulting in faster 5G+ speeds across the board. So what's changed? Prices have not gone down nor have data buckets. But all Telus bring your own phone plans no longer have shareable data (meaning another line on your account cannot use your data). The $70/100GB and $55/40GB select student plan previously said they had shareable data but that's no longer the case. As for wireless speed changes? The 5G Standard label for the $65/60GB plan is now under the title '5G+ Select'. This change brings download speeds now up to 2 Gbps (award-winning touts Telus), which is a huge upgrade compared to the 250 Mbps speed before.
