Seville and Tina Clayton lead J'can to Ultimate Champs

Tina Clayton and Oblique Seville KINGSTON, Jamaica — Newly crowned Wanda Diamond League 100m champions Oblique Seville and Tina Clayton have been included in Jamaica's 27-member team at the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championships, set for Budapest, Hungary, from Friday. Additionally Jamaica have also qualified in both the mixed 4x100m and 4x400m relays. The Ultimate Championships which will offer the individual winners US$150,000 will bring together winners from the Olympic Games, World Athletics Championships and the recently concluded Diamond League as well as the top performers this season for three afternoons of competition. Joining Seville on the men's side, Commonwealth Games champions Navasky Anderson, Romaine Beckford and Demario Prince were also named. Commonwealth Games champion Sanique Walker and women's 4x100m relay gold medallists Jodean Williams and Lavanya Williams were also named.
