【本部】任期満了に伴う本部町長選挙が８日に告示される。いずれも無所属新人で、元県議会議員の平良昭一氏（６４）と、元町役場職員の仲宗根章氏（５９）が立候補を予定している。両氏に主な公約や自身の強みなどを聞いた。
