Killybegs Coast Guard to hold open night

The Killybegs Coast Guard will be hosting an open night this week. The open night will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday, September 8, at the new pier in Killybegs Harbour. The evening offers locals a chance to meet the local coast guard unit and see their facilities and equipment. The Killybegs Coast Guard shared: 'We are inviting members of the public who may be interested in joining our Coast Guard family to come along, have a look around, ask questions, and find out what volunteering with us is all about. 'Whether you have experience or none at all, there are many different roles where you can learn new skills, challenge yourself and, most importantly, help others in their hour of need. Come along, meet the crew, see what we do, and discover how you could become part of our team.'
