The Mental Health and Recovery Board of Portage County plans its 3rd Celebrate Recovery! Walk & Poetry Reading from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 12 at First Congregational Church in Ravenna.
The event is free at the church, 266 S. Chestnut St.
To register, go to the link at mental-health-recovery.org or call 330-673-1756.
The event will be a chance to walk, reflect and share poetry that inspires hope and courage. The event offers support to those on a journey to mental health and recovery.
Whether a seasoned poet or just looking to enjoy some beautiful verses, this event is open to all. Refreshments will be served before the walk from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
