USA TODAY Sports Super 15 Midwest region football rankings, Week 4

For the first time in the 2026 high school football season, there will not be a new team leading the USA TODAY Sports Midwest Regional Super 15. Trinity (KY) pushed its record to a perfect 3-0 to remain the top team in the rankings, as well as a riser in the USA TODAY Sports Week 4 Super 25 this week. The rest of the Midwest also showed stability this week, as the top-ranked teams came out ahead in their matchups. With that in mind, here are the top 15 teams in the Midwest as the region continues the 2026 season. Here are USA TODAY Sports' Week 4 Midwest Region Super 15 rankings. Record: 3-0 Trinity becomes the first team to repeat as the No. 1 team in the 2026 Midwest Region rankings following a 3-0 start to the season. Senior running back Jamaurion Berry finished with 112 yards and two touchdowns in the 31-14 win over Cincinnati Moeller. Now Trinity's biggest test of the season could come this week against a Tennessee powerhouse in Baylor, ranked No. 13 in the latest Super 25 national rankings, and USA TODAY Sports preseason All-America first teamer David Gabriel Georges, who is a Tennessee commit. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Baylor (TN), 7 p.m. ET Record: 3-0 Quarterback Oscar Frye threw for three touchdowns as Brownsburg steamrolled Franklin Central 48-0 to extend its winning streak to 22 straight games. The Bulldogs return home next week against rival Avon, seeking to push their winning streak to 23. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Avon (IN), 7 p.m. ET Record: 3-0 Massillon Washington jumps East St. Louis for the No. 3 spot in the rankings following a 21-16 win over NFL Academy (Loughborough, England). Brayton Feister recorded five solo tackles, seven assists, 1.5 sacks and 2.0 tackles for loss in the win for Massillon Washington. This week, the Tigers will host a game against the Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY). Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Canisius (NY), 7 p.m. ET Record: 2-1 Despite the nail-biting 24-21 win over Gainesville (GA), the Flyers moved down one spot in the rankings but are still happy to be sitting at 2-1 following a tough opening schedule to the season, which includes the win over Mt. Carmel. Ronnie Gomiller's two touchdowns in the second quarter turned out to be the difference for East St. Louis to pull out the intra-state matchup victory. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. O'Fallon (IL), 7 p.m. ET Record: 3-0 For the third straight week, Big Walnut held its opponent to seven points in a blowout victory. The Golden Eagles have now outscored their opponents 115-21 this season following the 44-7 win over Reynoldsburg. The sledding gets a little tougher this week against Hayes, but the Golden Eagles should be favored to win four straight to open the season. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Hayes (OH), 7 p.m. ET Record: 3-0 Bishop Watterson jumped out to a 20-0 lead in its 41-10 dominating win over Urusline on Saturday, Sept. 5, pushing its current winning streak to 33 games. Caden Mangini opened the scoring with his two rushing touchdowns. The senior has already rushed for 750 yards and six touchdowns through three games this season. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Glenville (OH), 7 p.m. ET Record: 3-0 Despite the return of five-star prospect Jamier Brown, St. Edward dominated Wayne (OH) to a tune of 48-21. The Eagles scored touchdowns on each of their first three possessions to take control of the game and never looked back, despite a three-touchdown performance from Brown, the Ohio State commit. Quarterback Langston Lucas accounted for 232 yards of offense (168 passing, 64 rushing) and three scores in the win for St. Edward. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, at Archbishop Hoban (OH), 7 p.m. ET Record: 2-1 Following two chaotic games to open the 2026 season, Mt. Carmel finally had a game that was a little more relaxing, as the Caravan soundly defeated Nazareth Academy 35-7 on Friday. Now the Caravan can refocus their energy on league play, with a crucial matchup against Marist, which is coming off a loss to five-star Miami commit Israel Abrams and Montini Catholic. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Marist (IL), 7 p.m. ET Record: 2-0 Detroit Catholic Central opened its home slate with a dominant, 56-14 win over Davison behind three-touchdown performances from quarterback Duke Banta and wide receiver Gideson Gash. The Shamrocks finished the night with 232 passing yards and 273 rushing yards. They play Holy Name (Canada) this week. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Holy Name (Canada), 7 p.m. ET Record: 2-0 After a back-and-forth first half, the Technicians took over in the second half to earn the 48-21 victory over rival Grandville (MI). Texas A&M commit Donald Tabron II threw a pick-six to start the second half for his team to fall behind 14-13, but he responded with an 80-yard screen pass for a touchdown and then led Cass Tech to 21 unanswered points after Grandville cut the lead down to 27-21. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, at Southeastern (MI), 5 p.m. ET Record: 2-0 Nebraska commit Trae Marshall did not find much room to run on the ground, finishing with just 1 yard on 15 attempts, but did add a crucial rushing score while throwing for 240 yards and a touchdown in a 24-14 win over Summit (MO) Safety Aidan Marshall added a pick-six on defense to put the game out of reach late. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, at Elkhorn South, 7 p.m. CT Record: 2-1 Anderson earned its second consecutive dominant win with a 51-14 win over Little Miami (OH). The Raptors have outscored opponents 121-33 over the last two weeks following the season-opening upset loss to Trinity. This week, the Raptors face another tough test against an unbeaten Lebanon in league play. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, at Lebanon (OH), 7 p.m. ET Record: 3-0 Three interceptions helped Elder dominate East Central in a 42-7 victory last week. Junior linebacker Brayden Tepe led the way for the defense, as he finished with 12 tackles and an interception. Overall, the Panthers scored touchdowns on six of their seven offensive possessions. With the win, Elder has won 13 straight games, outscoring opponents 133-30 through the first three weeks of the 2026 high school football season. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. La Salle (OH), 7 p.m. ET Record: 3-0 In a game that went past midnight local time, Warren Central was able to outlast North Central, 45-42. Kickoff was initially pushed back to 8:30 due to extreme heat, with the game ending around 12:30 a.m. Iowa commit running back Keyon Thomas finished with 294 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the victory for Warren Central. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, vs. Lawrence Central, 7 p.m. ET Record: 3-0 Despite losing Oklahoma commit Seneca Driver early in the second quarter due to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, Boyle County still pulled off a 35-21 win over Lexington Catholic. Driver will also miss this week's game against Highlands. The Rebels led by as much as 28-7, but saw Lexington Catholic score two rushing touchdowns within 51 seconds in the fourth quarter to make it a ballgame. However, Kain Logan returned an interception for a touchdown with 3:33 left to ice the game. Next game: Friday, Sept. 11, at Highlands (KY), 7 p.m. ET
