Terry Lynn Camp, 62

Terry Camp passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, at the age of 62. He was born on September 25, 1963, in Palestine, Texas to Mary Evelyn Armstrong and Marvin Camp. Terry was one of eight children and grew up surrounded by his family. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Evelyn; his father, Marvin; and his sister, Kathy. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry Lacey of Fairfield, Texas; James Michael of Fairfield, Texas; and Jimmy Don Perkins and his wife, Carolynn Perkins, of Malakoff, Texas; and his sisters, Shirley Bain and her husband, Bobby Bain, of Fairfield, Texas; Judy Beene of Fairfield, Texas; and Diana Armstrong of Brownwood, Texas. He is also survived by his niece, whom he helped raise, Jamie Armstrong, and her fiancé Ryan Garza of Brownwood, Texas, along with many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly. Terry was a man who could find something to work on just about anywhere. He loved projects of all kinds, whether it was working on a vehicle, building something out of popsicle sticks, putting together a birdhouse, or tinkering with his little bicycles equipped with two-cycle engines. One of his greatest joys was riding those bicycles and enjoying the freedom and fun they brought him. During his younger years, Terry loved going into town and visiting with his friends. He especially enjoyed spending time at I-45 Coffee Shop, sharing a cup of coffee with Reno Carroll and many of his other friends. Among those friendships, Troy Jones and Donnie Farris held a particularly special place in Terry's heart. The people he met and the friendships he made throughout his life meant a great deal to him. Terry will be remembered for his love of tinkering, his enjoyment of the simple things in life, and the memories he created with the people around him. His family and friends will carry those memories with them and remember the unique person he was. Terry's life will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood, Texas.
