Nothing Bundt Cakes is going to make sure that for at least one day you can have your cake and eat it too for free, but you have to be fast to get one. On Sept. 15, the widely popular bakery is giving away a total of 250,000 free Bundlets, its individual small cakes, to the first 300 people at each of its more than 800 bakeries nationwide. The day is being declared by the company as its first ever National Bring the Joy Day. 'Nothing Bundt Cakes was built on the belief that cake has the power to bring joy,' said Dolf Berle, CEO of Nothing Bundt Cakes, in a statement. The special is part of the company's 10 Million Bites of Joy, a six-week initiative that includes several specials such as the return of fan-favorite Biscoff Cookie Butter Cake, which came back Aug. 17 and is available through Oct. 11, and a new Apple Pie Cake Pop-Up Flavor that arrives Sept. 14 and will be sold through Sept. 27. Nothing Bundt Cakes, which is known as much for its flavorful cakes as it is for their colorful decorations, was founded in 1997. Southern California locations include shops in Culver City, Manhattan Beach, Norwalk, Tustin, San Clemente, Corona, Moreno Valley and Redlands.
