IRVING, Tex. — Franchise Expo Dallas will mark MFV Expositions' first return to the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 2018.
Set for September 18-19 at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, the organizer expects to attract more than 2,000 attendees, who will explore opportunities from more than 100 exhibitors — everything from restaurants to retailers to home improvement businesses.
The franchise industry in the U.S. is booming.
'By almost any industry benchmark metric or standard, it's clear that interest in business ownership through franchising is at an all-time high,' Martin Joksimovic, President at MFV Expositions, stated. 'There are approximately 850,000 franchise establishments in the U.S. today, and it's only a matter of time before the industry surpasses the one-million mark.'

Among the show's featured seminars are 'The A to Z's of Buying a Franchise,' hosted by Dr. John Hayes, the Titus Chair for Franchise Leadership at Palm Beach Atlantic University; 'Franchising Your Business,' presented by industry veteran Mark Siebert of iFranchise Group; and 'Minorities Building Wealth Through Franchising,' led by Andre Key, the Founder and CEO of Sociallybuzz.
On the show floor, there will be an Emerging Brands Pavilion for brands with fewer than 10 total locations, and a Business Resource Center where franchise brands can network and build relationships with some of the industry's leading vendors and suppliers.
Historically speaking, Texas has been an important market for franchising, and it currently ranks first in the U.S., according to the International Franchise Association's latest Franchising Economic Outlook report.
'I agree with the saying, 'Everything is bigger in Texas,'' Joksimovic stated. 'That's especially true when it comes to the potential franchise ownership offers for attendees.'
