2026 Nebraska State Fair Wraps up in Grand Island

The Nebraska State Fair ended its eleven-day run Monday in Grand Island, and while official attendance numbers are not yet available, parking lots filled up on both weekends—even with temperatures in the nineties. Among the most dedicated visitors were Grand Island residents Brad and Michelle Foster, who made it to ten of the fair's eleven days. Monday's finale included high school rodeo, a demolition derby, a veterans program and the selection of FFA livestock champions. Fair leaders are already planning for next year, with a review ahead to identify what worked and where to improve.
