Miss Louisiana earns first runner-up in Miss America pageant
The 99th annual Miss America pageant was held Sunday night in Palm Beach, Florida.
Shelby Bordelon, representing Iberville Parish, was named first runner-up at the 99th annual Miss America pageant.

Bordelon, a graduate student at Southeastern Louisiana University, shined on stage and earned a $10,000 scholarship for her achievement.
Miss Texas was crowned Miss America 2027.
