MPA Reviews Execution Of PM Petrol Relief Scheme

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2026) Member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA) and Parliamentary Secretary for Planning and Development, Dr. Rana Tariq, on Sunday visited a petrol pump near Farid Gate to review the implementation of the Prime Minister's Special Petrol Relief Scheme. According to a spokesperson, Dr. Tariq inspected the arrangements made for providing subsidized fuel to eligible citizens, including customer guidance counters and overall service delivery. He also reviewed the functionality of the scheme's dedicated mobile application. During the visit, the Parliamentary Secretary directed the staff on duty to facilitate eligible citizens in strict accordance with prescribed procedures, emphasizing that relief must reach deserving beneficiaries in a transparent and timely manner. He further stressed the need for continuous field monitoring to ensure smooth operations and hassle-free service delivery to the public.
