The latest episode of the long-running documentary series airs at 8pm on Tuesday evening and will include footage of Redcar's volunteer lifeboat crew responding after two walkers became cut off by the tide. The incident saw lifeboat volunteers called into action as the pair found themselves stranded on a rapidly diminishing strip of beach, highlighting the dangers posed by the area's fast-moving tides and the lifesaving work carried out by RNLI crews across the North East. In a social media post, the station said: 'Look out for RNLI Redcar on this week's 'Saving Lives at Sea' – they will be appearing on BBC Two at 8pm on Tuesday evening. 'It's a chance to see your local lifeboat crew in action saving lives and keeping people safe.' The appearance offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication and professionalism of Redcar's volunteer crew, whose members regularly respond to emergencies along the Teesside coastline.
