'Gold and Silver Prices: Gold Drops ₹2,150 in Delhi, Silver Rises to ₹2,41,100 per Kg'
The value of gold experienced a sharp drop in the national capital on Tuesday. It is the second day in a row when gold prices are falling. The reason for the fall of gold price is weak sentiments prevailing in the global market. On the other hand, the prices of silver began moving upwards.
Silver experienced a price increase of ₹600 after staying stable during the last two days. Market players are concentrating their attention on US inflation figures and interest rates at the Fed.
On Tuesday, gold prices dropped by ₹2,150. The price of 10 grams of gold is ₹1,58,100 today. As reported by the All India Sarafa Association, this fall in the price of 99.9% pure gold is based on the overall taxes. In the previous session, gold price stood at Rs 1,60,250 per 10 grams. Weak trends in global markets put pressure on gold prices.
Silver prices rose by Rs 600. The price of one kilogram of silver is now Rs 2,41,100, including all taxes. The white metal resumed its upward trend after remaining stable in the previous two sessions. On September 3, silver jumped by Rs 5,000 to Rs 2,40,500 per kilogram. Silver prices remained unchanged on September 4 and 7.
