Suspect in Custody After Vehicle Pursuit in South LA

At least one person was rushed to a hospital and a suspect was in custody in connection with a brief vehicle pursuit Monday in South Los Angeles, authorities said. The pursuit began at 10:35 a.m. Monday at 83rd Street and Western Avenue and ended at 10:36 a.m. in the area of 84th Street and Budlong Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division. The chase involved a possible stolen vehicle suspect. Multiple ambulances were called to the scene, and at least one person was taken to a hospital. No further information was immediately available.
