AIOU education faculty gets new leadership

ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP): The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has appointed Prof. Dr Naveed Sultana as Dean of the Faculty of Education for a three-year term. The appointment has been made under the Constitution and university laws and takes immediate effect, according to notifications issued by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the AIOU Registrar's Office. Prof. Dr Naveed Sultana was previously serving as Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Educational Planning, Policy Studies and Leadership (EPPSL). She brings extensive academic and administrative experience to her new role. Her appointment is expected to further strengthen the Faculty of Education's academic, research and administrative activities. AIOU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Nasir Mahmood congratulated Prof. Dr Naveed Sultana on her appointment and expressed his best wishes for her successful tenure. The University's faculty members, principal officers and employees also extended their congratulations and best wishes to her.
