FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Charges against singer and actor Tyrese Gibson in an animal cruelty investigation were dismissed nearly a year after the incident occurred, according to his attorney. On September 18, 2025, Fulton County Police said four of Gibson's Cane Corso dogs were walking freely in a Buckhead neighborhood and killed a neighbor's 5-year-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. Following the incident, police issued an arrest warrant for Gibson, who later stated he was out of town at the time. He later turned himself in and was booked in the Fulton County Jail on dog-at-large, nuisance, and cruelty-to-animals charges. Nearly a year after the incident, his attorney, Gabe Banks, confirmed that all charges against Gibson had been dropped in August 2026.
