NELSON COUNTY, Va. – A man's body was recovered from a partially submerged vehicle in Lake Nelson on Monday, Nelson County Sheriff's Office said. NCSO said they arrived at Lake Nelson around 7:05 a.m. on Monday after receiving a report of a vehicle partially submerged in the water. Upon arrival, they found the passenger vehicle in the lake, around 30 yards from the publicly accessible boat ramp. Recommended Videos Authorities said other resources were contacted and responded to the scene to assist in the retrieval of the vehicle. A man's body was found in the driver's seat. Law enforcement identified the man as Graham Isaac Bolter of Waynesboro. The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Richmond as part of the investigation. NCSO thanked the Virginia State Police, Wintergreen Fire & Rescue and other local agencies for their assistance.
