British Columbia — Sasquatch Mountain Resort did not have a good 2025-26 season. Planned improvements for passholders didn't go as planned. The struggles included one of their key chairlifts (Green Chair) not operating at all and having to reduce their operational schedule. This has led to some testy comments from typically friendly Canadians on social media. This summer, Sasquatch Mountain Resort has posted sporadically on social media with updates on summer happenings and season passes for the upcoming winter. Skeptical guests have asked whether the Sasquatch Triple (also know as the Green Chair) will be operational this upcoming winter. So far, it appears that Green Chair isn't guaranteed to operate next winter. Here was one of their responses to guests, which was issued in July: 'We are working on it! We have enlisted the support of a third party company in order to get all maintenance items up to spec in accordance with Technical Safety BC, on all lifts. We are hoping to put ourselves in the best possible position for the upcoming season. Inspections and such should come in the fall, fingers crossed!' Here are their responses to Green Chair's question on their most recent social media post: 'Our team continues to work through required maintenance items on all lifts, including the Green Chair, as we prepare for Technical Safety BC inspections later this fall. We don't want to speculate before we have confirmed information to share, but we'll provide updates as soon as they're available.' 'We know the Green Chair has been a frequent topic of conversation over the years. For now, our focus remains on maintenance, inspections, and sharing confirmed updates when they're available.' To bring guests back, Sasquatch offered 25% off to returning passholders. Throughout the summer, Sasquatch Mountain Resort has tried to push pass sales by offering new products and benefits. This included a giveaway that makes you eligible to get your money back, get a free lift ticket to give a friend, and earn a discount on summer activities. So if you're looking to be sure that Sasquatch will have Green Chair operational before buying a pass, you may want to wait a bit.
