In Kyiv, efforts have begun to stockpile food and drinking water in case of prolonged power outages and other emergencies. The city aims to prepare reserves in advance that can be used at resilience centers and to assist people in the event of large-scale disruptions. A new air threat alert system went into operation in Kyiv on September 6.
