JCC Athlete of the Week ending Aug. 30

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Jefferson Community College's Athlete of the Week for the Week Ending Aug. 30, 2026, is Freshman midfielder Lucas Cheung of the men's soccer team. Cheung is a graduate of Hinchingbrooke School, England, and is majoring in Sports Management. Lucas delivered an amazing performance, acting as a focal point in Jefferson's offense throughout the match against North Country Community College. Cheung's ingenuity and playmaking abilities were on full display as he assisted on both the third and game-winning fourth goals, propelling the Cannoneers to a thrilling 4-3 win.
